Welcome to Elma Township Public School!

We are proudly located in the middle of rural North Perth, serving the regions of Atwood, Brussels and Monkton. We are situated in the community of Atwood on a large parcel of land that offers plenty of playground equipment, green space and a beautiful nature area. We have an official size track on our yard, allowing us to host Track and Field events! It’s a little piece of heaven in the middle of North Perth!

We are a school of approximately 350 students, and over 30 staff members. ETPS is closely connected to our local community and its rich history. Our school has a strong community focus where staff, parents and the wider community work in partnership.

Built in 1967, we are an amalgamation of the early school houses in the area. We are very aware of and proud of the rich history of our community. An important part of this rich history is acknowledging that we are located on the traditional land of the Anishanaabe Peoples.

ETPS embraces opportunities to develop the leadership skills of our students. Through a variety of opportunities, Student Voice is honoured in creating opportunities for mental health, well being and school spirit! These groups cultivate positive, inclusive interaction for all students.

At ETPS, we believe in creating an environment that is engaging, inclusive and nurturing to develop safe, respectful learners. We aim to inspire students to develop a passion for learning and actively strive for success in all endeavours. We are committed to ensuring all students become successful, confident and creative lifelong learners.
